Manchester Lib Dems welcome Council, MCFC and NEM Agreement.9.20.00am GMT Fri 12th Mar 2010
Manchester Lib Dem Leader Simon Ashley has welcomed the signing of a joint agreement between the Club, Council and New East Manchester. Cllr Ashley said, "This is good news for East Manchester after Gordon Brown cancelled the casino and with it 3500 jobs. However, for the Lib Dems, the acid test for this agreement will be how many jobs it creates for local people. At the moment, we don't have that kind of detail."
