Cllr Jackie Pearcey
Labour's rats' charter for Manchester
Despite the opposition they faced when they last tried to move to fortnightly black bin collections in the City, Manchester's Labour bosses have decided that the return of Labour Councillors in every seat in the City this May gives them carte blanche to introduce the scheme this year.
Labour claim that this move is to help improve recycling rates in the City, but the only thin that it is likely to improve is the feeding grounds for the City's rat population as bins stand unemptied in our streets.
Jackie Pearcey, the Deputy Leader of the Lib Dems in Manchester, would like to know what you think about the refuse services in Manchester, and the changes that Labour are making to them.
