Manchester Gala Dinner With Jo Swinson MP

We would like to invite you all to a special evening with friends and fellow activists, the Manchester Liberal Democrats Gala Dinner 2011. Taking place on the 17th of June at the Waterside Hotel & Galleon Leisure Club in East Didsbury, the gala will be a big fundraising event for Manchester Liberal Democrats.
In addition to our guest speaker we will be graced with the presence of the Deputy Lord Mayor Elaine Boyes.
Tickets are £32 each and for that you will receive a delicious 3 course meal with wine and coffee. Every penny raised will help us with future campaigns and making sure the Lib Dems have a strong voice in Manchester. After the result on May 5th it is time to make sure we have an energetic and determined campaign and the resources necessary to safeguard our success next May. Be sure to book your table in advance as these fully inclusive great value tickets are selling fast.
The dinner is set out to be an inspiring evening with our special guest speaker Jo Swinson MP.
When first elected in May 2005 for East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, at the age of 26, Jo was the 'baby of the house'. Regardless of her young age, Jo has taken on key roles in both parliament and the party. She is currently the parliamentary Private Secretary to Vince Cable. Her previous roles include being the Junior Shadow Minister for Women & Equality and Foreign Affairs. This all from the first ever UK MP to be born in the 1980s!
Jo is currently the Deputy Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats. Recently tying the knot with Duncan Hames MP for Chippenham, chances are we are blessed with the presence of not only one but two MPs! Jo is a passionate campaigner and an inspiring speaker. We are delighted to have her attending our gala dinner.
