Marc has represented the City Centre since 2000, having previously served in Rusholme Ward. His priorities are greening the city centre; improving the quality of life for city centre residents and making sure that residents get value for money from their Council tax.
He was Chair of the Lib Dem Council Group ('00-'04) and Liberal Democrat Finance Spokesperson ('04-08). He is currently Manchester's Opposition Spokesperson on Childrens' Services, as well as being a member of the Personnel Committee. Marc is a school Governor and a member of the board of social enterprise Community Security Ltd. He also works as an Employment Tribunal Advocate.
