Leese slammed for criticising Headteachers

Cllr Leese should be repecting the views of HeadTeachers, not criticising them: Simon Ashley

Manchester Lib Dem Leader Councillor Simon Ashley has slammed Council Leader Sir Richard Leese for saying school closures are "unnecessary" during the current cold spell.

Cllr Ashley said today,

"This is a cheap shot. The last thing Headteachers need is a politician telling them how to run their schools. Cllr Leese should respect the judgement of Headteachers, not criticise them."
