Local Residents Are Urged to Return Electoral Registration Forms by 5th November
Withington Liberal Democrat MP, John Leech, is encouraging everyone to make sure they get the chance to have their say on the proposed congestion charge in Manchester.
Manchester City Council has announced that anyone hoping to vote in the upcoming referendum on this important issue must have completed and returned their electoral registration form by the 5th November.
John Leech, MP for Manchester Withington, says:
"I hope that everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to register their opinions. It's really important that local people express their views on this important issue."
"The Lib Dems have long campaigned for a public vote on the congestion charge, so it's great to see Councils in Greater Manchester taking note of our suggestions."
