Gorton South Cllr Glover Welcomes Progress on Bringing Empty Homes Back into Use in Gorton
Gorton South Liberal Democrat Councillor Charles Glover today welcomed Manchester City Council's plans to place a Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) on 6 Highfield Range in Gorton. This follows years of complaints from local residents and Councillors, as the house has blighted the local neighbourhood for twenty-three years.
Cllr Glover said:
"This house has been empty for over twenty years, and in the past decade there have been a constant stream of complaints from neighbours. I am glad that the Council are finally taking action."
