Cllr John Cameron - Burnage Ward
John Cameron is councillor for the Burnage ward, having won the seat for the Liberal Democrats, from Labour, for the first time in 2003. He was subsequently re-elected in 2004, along with fellow Liberal Democrats Iain Donaldson and Rodney Isherwood. John serves as the Chair of the Council's Economy, Employment and Skills Overview and Scrutiny Committee. John has campaigned for improved road safety in Burnage and Didsbury for years and has been pleased to see new pedestrian crossings over Kingsway and Burnage Lane, together with speed camera on Errwood Road and Kingsway and 20mph zones around the local schools implemented since he became a Councillor. However, he says that the work has only started and much more remains to be done. John is the chair of the Burnage Multi Agency Group, which is a voluntary group providing youth work in the community. He is also a school Governor at Ladybarn Primary School. He was the agent for John Leech MP during his successful 2005 general election campaign for Manchester Withington. He holds a degree in Town and Country Planning from Manchester University and is a qualified nurse. John lives in Burnage.

Cllr Iain Donaldson - Burnage Ward
Iain Donaldson is a founding member of the Liberal Democrats (1988), having never been a member of any other political party.
First elected to Manchester City Council in 1992, is now serving his 5th consecutive term of office.
Iain is the Shadow Executive Member for Housing, Employment and Economic Regeneration on Manchester City Council, and also represents the Liberal Democrats on the Military Service sub-committee.
Iain campaigns to ensure that local communities are properly represented in the development of the policies and practices that affect their lives. He entered politics to get the Council to listen to local people, a battle that he says is always going to need to be fought.
Iain has a strong record of campaigning on planning and environmental issues.
Iain Vice-Chair of the Governing Body of Green End Primary School on Burnage Lane where he chairs the Staffing Sub-Committee, and is a member of the board of the Burnage Multi-Agency Group.

Victor Chamberlain was elected in 2010 after gaining the Chorlton seat from Labour. He was born and brought up in Chorlton, where he has been an active member of the community. Simon also sits on the Audit Committee. He works as North West Liberal Democrat Regional Media Co-ordinator. Simon is a school Governor at Mauldeth Road Primary locally. He serves as trustee of Withington Civic Society, and Ladybarn Community Centre. Simon enjoys working with local people for the benefit of the community.
